First came the now-legendary 601 series, followed by the more hearty 601 La Bomba, and finally, the ultimate in strength and sinister character, the 601 La Bomba Warhead. This limited series first appeared in 2013, taking the core blend of the 601 La Bomba, cranking the intensity to eleven, and cloaking the blend in a gritty Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper.
In the years following, Espinosa Premium Cigars has unveiled new sizes of the Espinosa 601 La Bomba Warhead cigar on a semi-annual basis. New for 2021 is the Espinosa 601 La Bomba Warhead VII. As with former releases, the cigar boasts all-Nicaraguan binder/fillers, though the Connecticut wrapper has now been swapped for a unique Nicaraguan-grown Broadleaf variant from the acclaimed fields of Master Blender A.J. Fernández.
The 601 La Bomba Warhead VII is among the largest formats in the series to date, weighing in at a box-pressed 7" x 50 Churchill. Only 2,000 boxes of 10 cigars have been crafted, showcasing the brand's signature strength and standout flavors of black peppercorn, chocolate malt, hearty earth, black licorice, and sweet, syrupy molasses.
