The extremely unique cigar was the brainchild of Smoke Inn Founder, Honest Abe Dababneh. In 2021 Abe approached the fine folks at Aganorsa Leaf with a request to combine components of his two favorite blends produced at their factory in Estelí. The ensuing concoction resulted in a premium Nicaraguan cigar that showcased the unique blend of Corojo ’99, Corojo 2012, and Criollo ’98 tobacco leaves that have made Aganorsa a favorite in today’s craft circles. This perfect union would be named Rare Fusion. First released in 2023 in a single 6″ x 54 Toro format of only 5000 cigars, the cigar made waves throughout the cigarverse and received high accolades from industry media and consumers alike.

In response to the amazing demand for more, Smoke inn is proud to bring back this amazing blend for all connoisseurs to enjoy. The 2024 Limited Production release introduces the same great blend in a new size, Robusto 5.25 x 52 format.

Aganorsa is known for its authentic Cuban tobacco-growing techniques and craftsmanship, making it one of the top growers of premium Nicaraguan tobacco in the industry. Their focus on Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 seeds is evident in the Aganorsa Leaf Rare Fusion, which combines the best of both worlds by showcasing the sweet, slightly salty, graham cracker-like characteristics of Corojo ’99, which is used as the wrapper and portions of the filler. The peppery and savory notes of Criollo ’98 are also featured throughout the interior recipe, creating a complex and balanced flavor profile.

To enhance the blend even further, Aganorsa has included their latest tobacco achievement, Nicaraguan Corojo 2012, in the filler. The result is a perfect synthesis of these two incredible ligas in one Nicaraguan puro. The harmonious combination of these distinct flavors provides a highly enjoyable smoking experience that will satisfy even the most discerning cigar connoisseurs.
