The fan-favorite Black Label Trading Co. (aka BLTC) is known for their big and bold smoking profiles, often highlighting gritty maduro wrappers and fiery Nicaraguan fillers. This style is perhaps no better evidenced than with the annual BLTC Bishops Blend launch.
The eighth release in the series, the BLTC Bishops Blend 2024 cigar is said to be most similar to the 2022 release, featuring a dark Ecuadorian Habano maduro wrapper, an Ecuadorian Habano binder, and diverse fillers from Connecticut, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania (Broadleaf).
As usual, the cigars were rolled out of Black Label's own Fábriva Oveja Negra factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, featuring three unique sizes that are limited for the 2024 season. This is a punchy blend, described by owner/founder James Brown as "[boasting] big bold flavors of anise, pepper, raisins, and a sweet earthiness on the finish. It is very complex and extremely refined. As with the past vintages, the broadleaf fillers shine at the forefront and are perfectly balanced by the Nicaraguan filler tobaccos.”
*Please note that all SKUs have two product lines. The top line is the box/bundle count. The second line is less than a box/bundle count and will be shipped as loose cigars in a humidified bag.
