Known for taking conventional cigar marketing and flipping it on it's curmudgeonly head, Lost & Found takes on Thanksgiving with a one-off project known as El Pavo. The name translates to mean The Turkey, arriving in black-and-white coloring book artwork that'll instantly transport you back to second grade... just make sure to spell your name right this time!
As with all Lost & Found projects, El Pavo comes from the creative minds of Robert Caldwell and Tony Bellatto. The idea is to find rare cigar gems that have been occupying the aging rooms of cigar factories across the world. Lost & Found uncovers these cigars forgotten by time and repackages/repurposes them for the discerning enthusiast. While the factory of origin for El Pavo is undisclosed, the company has revealed that the cigars boast a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and all-Nicaraguan fillers. This is a hearty blend that smokes like a three-course Thanksgiving dinner, steadily evolving with dialed-in flavors of black peppercorn, cedar, mineral-rich earth, brown sugar, and lip-smacking butter.
As an added bonus, Lost & Found will ensure that each bundle sold will feed 5 people with Thanksgiving dinner.
