Since 2018, not a year has gone by (yes, even 2020) without Switzerland-based brand Cavalier Genève showcasing its annual limited edition cigar. To the delight of seasoned cigar fanatics worldwide, the company continues this trend for 2022, introducing the aptly titled Cavalier Genève Limited Edition 2022 cigar.
Apart from a new orange-themed sub-band, the company leaves the rest up to each individual palate, not disclosing blend specifics. What is known is that the cigar is rolled by Cavalier Genève's own Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco factory in Honduras, boasting a commanding 6" x 54 toro format. Additionally, company owner, Sebastien Decoppet, sticks with the brand's gold theme (nearly all Cavalier Genève cigars are adorned with a smokable gold-leaf diamond), as the 1,948 boxes produced represent the temperature (1948-degrees Fahrenheit) at which gold melts.
As with previous releases in the series, cigar enthusiasts can expect a sophisticated smoking experience, offering long, balanced sessions, and hitting standout flavor notes of mineral-rich earth, molasses bread, oak, and gentle cabinet spices.
