Cohiba Serie M Reserva Roja

Once considered one of the best hidden gems in the world of premium cigars, the boutique-minded El Titan de Bronze factory is now front and center, with their fine-tuned cigars being displayed in humidors across the country. This is due, in part, to a groundbreaking partnership with one of the most recognizable cigar brands in the world: Cohiba.

That's right, since 2021, the family-owned El Titan de Bronze factory has partnered with Cohiba, introducing new versions of the Cohiba Serie M cigar blend in limited quantities each year since. While past releases have showcased new sizes of the same overall blend, the 2024 edition—Cohiba Serie M Reserva Roja—is the most unique offering in the series since the 2021 debut.

The Cohiba Serie M Reserva Roja cigar features a new brick-red band, differentiating itself from past releases from the outset. But the recipe has been tweaked as well, showing off a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper (the same cover leaf found on prior releases), being joined by a new Nicaraguan Corojo binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. With El Titan being considered among the most artisan factories in the world, it's safe to say the Cohiba Serie M Reserva Roja is of top-notch construction, featuring a covered foot and fan-tail cap design. The cigars are medium in intensity, opening up with cedar and must before leading into complexities of roasted nuts, cappuccino, and nutty browned butter.
