Fans of Crowned Heads know full well that the Las Calaveras annual release is one of the most exciting times of the year, often considered some of the most elite smoking experiences in the Crowned Heads lineup.

The 2023 launch is especially significant, marking the milestone 10th consecutive release in the collection. Officially dubbed Las Calaveras Edición Limitada 2023, the cigar marks only the second time that a Las Calaveras cigar has featured a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Like always, the cigars are rolled at the acclaimed My Father Cigars factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, with the gritty maduro wrapper surrounding an all-Nicaraguan interior blend.

Crowned Heads Las Calaveras is themed around the Mexican holiday Día de Muertos (<em>Day of the Dead</em>), and is intended to pay tribute to friends and family near to the Crowned Heads team that have passed. This is evidenced through four coin-shaped insignias found on the Las Calaveras 2023 cigar band, displaying each individual's initials. Additionally, each Las Calaveras release features a new color scheme, with the 2023 release boasting a white box and a yellow/black/gold layout. The cigars have been limited to only 1,500 boxes per size, and are sure to be one of the most sought-after cigar launches for collectors and enthusiasts alike throughout 2023!
