"In 2016, I decided that I should really work up a liga for the “soon to be upon us” Dunbarton’s 10th Anniversary in 2025. And I set aside all the leaf needed to then craft this cigar with the idea being that our 10th Anni-Puro would be comprised of tobacco’s bale aged a full ten years.

Needless to say, the amount of tobacco I reserved was woefully too little. And not by a smidge, we are talking about me missing the mark by at least 100,000 cigars worth of leaf… yeah, so much for my being a forward thinker.

So here is where my mistake is your win, I have decided to use some of that material and roll the intended liga as our 2025 TGS Exclusive at a ridiculously low price for cigar crafted with this vintage leaf, but without any of the frills: Simple factory sample band, kraft paper bundle with a couple of rubber stamps and a piece of string. Pretty sexy huh?

This is an ultra-smooth, medium-bodied smoke. Creamy on the palate with mellow baking spice notes of gentle gingerbread, allspice and mace which rewards you with a buttery retrohale. This is a cigar meant to be sipped, not powered through and be aware this is a delicate, refined cigar – an absolute epicurean experience to smoke.

And admittedly some of the vintage wrappers are going to get minor splits as you smoke them. Nothing that will hurt the experience, but do not smoke these too dry or in the cold. If this is a trait that is going to annoy you, then do not buy them. On the flip side, this is a rare opportunity to try something unique very few cigar smokers ever will."
