Inspired by the growing number of Chinese New Year-themed cigars in the industry, Steve Saka sought a more personal approach—choosing to celebrate those who have played a meaningful role in DTT’s journey. The inaugural release pays tribute to Chris Duque, a devoted friend of the company known for his generosity and passion for the cigar community.

Blended exclusively by Saka himself, the Year of the Duque cigar features a robust, flavor-packed profile tailored to Duque’s own smoking preferences. Rolled in a 5" x 48 parejo format, the cigar is designed to offer a bold, hearty smoking experience, with complexity that will evolve beautifully over time. The project was crafted out of the famed Joya de Nicaragua factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, though specific details on the blend remain undisclosed.
