Aura E.P. Carrillo Shengxiao Limited Edition

Over the years, more and more cigar manufacturers have gravitated towards offering special smoking experiences that tie into the Chinese New Year, with each release focusing on the year's associated Chinese zodiac symbol. Not one to follow convention, EPC Cigar Co.'s first foray into the zodiac-style release offers not one, but TWELVE unique smoking experiences.

Introducing the Aura E.P. Carrillo Shengxiao Limited Edition project, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo's first super-premium cigar experience. With this special project, Carrillo tapped into the balance between mind, body, and energy, giving the cigar the slogan "Driven by Energy." Such energy was needed when setting out to craft twelve unique smoking experiences—each tailor made to suit the various zodiac personalities (or Shengxiao in Mandarin).

Limited to only 2,500 boxes of 12, the Aura E.P. Carrillo Shengxiao Limited Edition cigars are each crafted in a shapely 6⅛" x 52 torpedo format at Carrillo's famed Tabacalera La Alianza factory in the DR. Every cigar is unique, boasting hand-selected tobaccos by Carrillo himself, as well as a minimum of five years' age. The packaging continues the super-premium theme, being hand crafted from mahogany and including a built-in humidifier and a set of cards that provide added details on the individual cigar blends and corresponding zodiac animals.
