El Artista Pulita 60 Aniversario

El Pulita 60 Aniversario by El Artista was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the factory Tabacalera El Artista S.R.L. in the Dominican Republic. El Artista is home to many other high-scoring boutique lines like the Big Papi and Buffalo TEN. The name Pulita comes from the company’s founder, Ramón “Pulita” Rodriguez.

Tabacalera El Artista opened its doors in Tamboril, Dominican Republic in 1956. In the years since, it has grown to one of nation’s largest rollers of premium cigars. Tabacalera El Artista produces millions of cigars each year under both its own brands and for other companies.

The blend for El Pulita 60 Aniversario starts with a rare Dominican negrito wrapper and is joined by a Dominican Criollo '98 binder and fillers from Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania. This nice middle-of-the-road, medium-bodied smoke will greet you with flavors of pepper, leather, and espresso.
