Jason Almon - El Septimo Michelangelo
El Septimo Michelangelo is a tasty treat with notes of wood, a little creaminess and touch of spice.

Great cigar with a lot of flavor. Draw was a little tight. But after using the draw tool, it was fine.

I like a dark wrapper, but I'm not a huge fan of the vitola shape. I used an angled straight cut and lit up. Nice flavors of toasted almond and dark chocolate early on. The burn was great and flavors we pleasing until I got almost to the last 3rd. It started to burn wonky and when I went to my trusty finger spit in front of the leading edge, when was left on my finger was dark brown "juice". Since I was at a friend's house chatting, I didn't get to pay attention to it and tend to it as I normally would. A few minutes and puffs later, hoping it would correct itself like in many cases, it did not and I had 3/4 inch of un-burned cigar on 1 side. So I disappointed-ly had to leave the chat and walk back to my truck for a lighter to touch it up. The remainder of the cigar had problems with burn and staying lit. Since I was not in my environment and trying to constantly play with cigar, I gave up and tossed it. The flavors were decent but the burn at last third killed it for me. I will give it another go sometime, maybe at home with tools and time.

Great cigar and phenomenal rich notes in the stick. El Septimo brags big and it pays off with their phenomenal tasting tobaccos. Try one today!

Horrible tight draw even after using my perfectdraw tool. Heavily packed on both sticks. Still gave 2 stars as the flavor I did get was pleasant.

This is a solid smoke. Great size, smooth with a nice draw. 4 stars based on the price point.

I started off with low expectations because of the shape. After getting into the first third and the draw opened up my palate was met with some great flavors. I'm terrible at describing them so I'll just leave them at great! It got a little wonky here and there but then made up for it by tasting even better. All in all this is a solid smoke!

Dark, earthy sweetness. Smooth. Almost no spice. Complex and lots of changes during each third. Flawless burn and construction.

I was a little reluctant based on some reviews I’ve seen. I had no issues at all. The burn was great with one little touch up, great flavors as well, smoked to the nub.

Really enjoyed this! Unfolded nicely-slow and consistent burn and was like a lovely meal. Satisfying.

Complex flavor profile of walnut, grass, olive oil, and some floral notes along with a hint of salt. Slight pepper on retrohale. Very interesting smoke. Try a 5 pack.

Much better than the Michaelangelo. More open draw which led to better flavors. Burn was very wonky for a stick that claims aged tobaccos.

Decent smoke, seemed to be missing something. Just a lot of woody, earthy flavors and a wonky burn that needed a few touch ups
