Growing up in Miami, Nick Fusco delighted in the magic created by his loving grandparents, Gonzalo and Maria Torre. It was in their honor that he created El Mago Cigars, following their untimely passing in 2021.
The El Mago Místico cigar was modeled after the magic moments created by Nick's grandparents. Crafted out of Nicaragua, the cigar is eye-catching in the humidor, being capped at both ends with a lighter-shade wrapper leaf (alluding to the look of an actual magic stick). These light-colored ends surround the cigar's signature ingredient: a three-year-aged Cameroon wrapper. Under the hood, you will find an Ecuadorian binder and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
The El Mago Místico cigar is as thrilling to smoke as it is to behold, lighting up with a medium intensity and hitting spicy-sweet complexities of red pepper flakes, toasted cedar, nutmeg, and sweet brown sugar.
