In 2023, the dynamic duo that is Espinosa and Guy Fieri added a San Andrés maduro blend to the growing stable of Knuckle Sandwich cigars. Dubbed Knuckle Sandwich 55, the cigars were made in celebration of Guy's 55th birthday. The limited blend proved one of the most sought after from Espinosa to date, and a second edition has now been introduced: Knuckle Sandwich 56.
Made for Guy Fieri's 56th birthday (which was celebrated on January 22, 2024), Espinosa now brings back the beloved maduro recipe in an all-new format. Like the original, the blend features all-Nicaraguan tobaccos throughout the binder and filler, being topped with a toothy Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper.
Tying the cigar itself into the '56' theme, the blend was rolled in a single 6" x 56 toro size, making use of a unique oval-pressed shape. Sitting somewhere between a box-press and a traditional parejo, the cigar has a comfortable feel, offering a cool smoke temperature and long-lasting complexities of earth, toasted oak, molasses, and a root beer-like sweetness through the finish.
