You'd be forgiven for assuming the Ferio Tego Summa was slang for Summer (or perhaps Sumatra?); in fact, the name represents a "summary or a synthesis of the body of work" thus far. This is a fancy way of saying that the cigar best showcases the strengths and diversity of the Ferio Tego portfolio.
Technically the first new core-line blend since launching Ferio Tego in 2021, the Summa cigar is rolled by the talented Quesada family out of their factory in the Dominican Republic. Bringing the concept to life, Ferio Tego selected an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, being used in conjunction with an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
Fans of Ferio Tego's more limited Generoso and Elegancia cigars will feel right at home with the Ferio Tego Summa, bringing the perfect crossover between flavor, strength, and body. This makes for a heavy smoking texture, hitting every region of the palate in unison, with a crescendo of flavor that includes notes of toasted oak, mineral-rich soil, molasses bread, and candied nuts.
