American artist LeRoy Neiman (1921–2012) was not only known for his vibrant and dynamic paintings, but his love of premium cigars. In memory, J.C. Newman partners with the LeRoy Neiman and the Janet Byrne Neiman Foundation, crafting a limited smoking experience to pay tribute to the late artist, debuting the LeRoy Neiman 2024 Collector's Edition cigar.
The LeRoy Neiman 2024 Collector’s Edition is hand-crafted at J.C. Newman’s famed El Reloj factory, located in Tampa’s historic Ybor City. This year’s release is a 7” x 50 Churchill, featuring a Havana Rosado wrapper, a Florida Sun Grown binder, and a blend of aged filler tobaccos from Latin America.
J.C. Newman has pulled out all the stops for this “Collector’s Edition” presentation, being packaged in exclusive cabinets featuring Neiman’s 1987 painting, “Left Bank Café,” displayed on the interior lid and each cigar’s band. This piece was chosen to tie into the 2024 Summer Olympics, which are hosted in Paris. Additionally, J.C. Newman and the Foundation will donate all profits from this collaboration to support arts education in Tampa’s public schools, particularly those around the El Reloj cigar factory. Limited to 600 cabinets of 20 cigars, the LeRoy Neiman 2024 Collector's Edition provides a unique and celebratory experience for both collectors and aficionados.
