In the ongoing quest to discover new and exotic flavor profiles for the cigar enthusiast, Macanudo turns to the rarely used region of Spain, introducing the Macanudo Emissary España as the first cigar in the Emissary line.

Aiming for a European sophistication, Macanudo boasts a Spanish tobacco from the town of Riolobos at the heart of the Emissary España cigar. This region is known for its rocky soil and Mediterranean climate, producing thick, oily leaves that are equal parts intense and nuanced.

But the fun doesn't end in Spain! The Macanudo Emissary España also touts five-year-aged Dominican Piloto, six-year-aged Nicaraguan tobacco, and five-year-aged Colombian tobacco within the filler. These leaves are bound in a six-year-aged Nicaraguan (Condega) leaf and finished with a five-year-aged Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that is lighter than the conventional Broadleaf maduro shade. All told, the Macanudo Emissary España is one of the most unique cigars you're likely to come across, delivering a medium intensity that offers a nuanced profile of toasted nuts, oak, lightly roasted coffee bean, and a lingering caramel sweetness through the finish.
