As a company known for tradition and sophistication, it isn't often that cigar enthusiasts are presented with a limited-edition offering from Nat Sherman. When such an occasion occurs, it has historically arrived under the Tobacconists' Association of America (TAA) and their annual Exclusive Series, where the industry's top manufacturers showcase special projects for the flavor-craving enthusiast.
Nat Sherman 2020 TAA Limited Edition is only the third such release for Nat Sherman, selecting a unique blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos featured under the modernized Timeless brand. This includes high-priming leaves from Nicaragua's Jalapa growing region throughout the binder/filler. Known for imparting sweetness and elegance, Jalapa is often used in lower-leaf primings as the wrapper component. Conversely, higher-priming leaves from Estelí are commonly chosen for filler; the Timeless TAA 2020 flips this as well, selecting a low-priming sun-grown leaf as the wrapper.
Nat Sherman Timeless 2020 TAA Limited Edition is rolled in a singular 6" x 50 toro size, determined to showcase the ideal profile for the given blend. Only 650 boxes have been crafted for 2020, making this one of the more limited Nat Sherman offerings you'll come across. Smokers can expect a medium body and a profile geared for finesse, boasting complexities of medium-roast coffee beans, aromatic oak, dark chocolate, lip-smacking peanut butter, and heavy cream through the finish.
