The latter involves the Johnny Smokes Uncut Cigar Group, which grew to prominence during COVID lockdowns and hasn't let off the gas pedal since!
With the Protocol J Train proving a smash hit, the two have reunited for 2022, launching the limited-edition Protocol F Train cigar. Like the original, the cigars were blended by Espinosa's Director of Factory Operations, Hector J. Alfonso Sr. Working closely with Espinosa's own La Zona factory in Estelí, Hector made use of a zesty Nicaraguan puro recipe, boasting a Nicaraguan Habano rosado wrapper and all-Nicaraguan binder/fillers from the Estelí and Jalapa growing regions. This amounts to a medium-plus intensity, coating the palate with subtle spices and sweet creaminess on each draw.
Originally limited to only 200 bundles, the Protocol F Train cigar has since expanded to a small number of retailers across the country. Order this community-driven flavor bomb while supplies last.

Maybe it was the moment or the rum I was drinking on a sunny fall day but this cigar was pure pleasure for me. The first thing I noticed was the smooth and flavorful cold draw that I had to savor and build anticipation for the light. Smoke! Wow, this cigar has amazing smoke that rises in the air like a gray dragon and lets off the best aroma that I have had in a while. The flavors of this cigar match the look and cold flavors with a dark smooth medium-full flavor that is leathery, stone fruit, dark rum, a bit of cream and burnt caramel, and a slight bit of pepper. Superb smoke when you have some time and a nice sipper to compliment the deep flavors.
