Room101 Hit and Run Redux

Longtime fans of Room101 and Caldwell Cigar Co. will look back fondly on the duo's original collaboration: Hit & Run. The cigars debuted in 2017 as a means to jumpstart Matt Booth (of Room101) and his anticipated return to the craft cigar scene.

After seven years, the limited Hit & Run project returns with an all-new recipe, being backed by the <em>dynamic duo</em> of Booth and Caldwell. This go-'round, the collaboration comes out of the craft-favorite William Ventura factory in the DR, making use of a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan C-98 (among other Nicaragua leaves) and Pennsylvania filler, described by Booth as "the physical and combustible manifestation of an intergalactic connection which proves that an authentic friend and a good cigar can help more than you may imagine."

No doubt, the Hit & Run cigar is back and perhaps better than ever, offering up a medium-plus to medium-full intensity that fires on all cylinders. With Booth and Caldwell's appreciation for nuance and sophistication, you can expect nothing less in the profile itself, hitting notes of punchy earth and dark spice before opening up to include cinnamon, jammy stone fruit, and cream through the finish. Or, as Booth himself describes it, "[It] pairs well with your favorite memory of the DMV."
