The legend of Tatuaje's The Old Man and the C series continues with the Fausto The Old Man and the C. This unique project began in 2012, paying tribute to Hemingway's similarly titled novel and offering cigar enthusiasts a fresh take on familiar Tatuaje blends. Previous releases have focused on the Tatuaje Black Label and the El Triunfador, where limited-edition coffins contain the blend at hand in both a lancero and culebra format (i.e. four cigars per coffin).
Tatuaje now sets its sights on the company's strongest regular-production blend—Fausto—rolling a limited number of Tatuaje Fausto The Old Man and the C. The Fausto is a fan-favorite smoking experience from Tatuaje, being based on limited projects such as the Tatuaje T110 and Tatuaje Thermonuclear from the company's early days. These blends are noted for their intense strength, making use of an Ecuadorian Habano maduro wrapper and all-Nicaraguan binder/fillers.
Tatuaje Fausto The Old Man and the C showcases this high-octane recipe with a limited 10,000 coffins for 2021. Each coffin contains the blend in a 7½" x 38 lancero size and an intertwined culebra of three cigars.
