Tim Chi - Tatuaje Mexican Experiment ME II Toro
(Verified buyer)
Tonight, the smoke choice is Tetuaje Mexican Experience II in Toro.
The cigar looks great, beautiful looking wrapper.
Straight cut. Start with cold draw. Very easy draw, which I’m happy about because my experience with Tetuaje has always been snug draw.
Pre-light started great. Some dark notes like coco or coffee. Neutral sweet with hint of spicy, and citric note at the end of smoke. Very oily and sandpaper texture after the smoke is blown. It was full body flavor right at beginning.
First third. The dark notes toned down, but rest of the characteristic stays. Now change to medium body.
On the second third, the flavors remain the same. One thing I notice the sweet and citric note is really shown on the draw, which I find it very refreshing. The retro on this cigar is smooth, and the smell of the smoke is wonderful.
On the final third the dark notes come back very noticeable. But the flavors shifts up and down a bit as most of final third would.
Overall excellent cigar
