In its ninth consecutive TAA-exclusive release, Tatuaje has made bigger changes than ever before! The cigar is aptly titled "Tatuaje TAA 51st," recognizing the Tobacconists' Association of America (TAA) organization's impressive 51 years in existence.
Tatuaje TAA 51st follows the highly coveted Tatuaje TAA 50th from 2018, incorporating the same 5" x 52 box-pressed robusto format. But, for the first time in Tatuaje's TAA series history, the wrapper has been swapped for a dark Mexican San Andrés leaf. The remainder of the cigar's blend has been left largely untouched, featuring Nicaraguan tobaccos throughout the binder and filler.
With Tatuaje's TAA series being one of the most sought-after limited-edition cigars released each year, smokers now have the unique opportunity to experience the fascinating changes brought on from a simple wrapper change. In our experience, the cigars bring a similar body (medium-full), offering a creamy smoking texture and heavy-hitting flavors of pepper spice, sugared pastries, sweet chocolate, bourbon-soaked oak, and earthy black tea.
The Tatuaje TAA is no longer available, however you can still enjoy great Tatuaje blends like the Havana VI or the Tatuaje Black.
