Ashton Aged Maduro is rare because of its selected and extremely limited Connecticut broad leaf wrapper. Many a wrapper leaf is picked, but few are chosen for the Ashton Aged Maduro. The initial sweet taste comes from the wrapper, but once lit, the cigar becomes rich and nutty. The Ashton Aged Maduro's rich distinct flavor comes from the never hurried natural fermentation of the wrapper, which encourages its natural sweetness. The wrapper and aged filler creates a rich and complex flavor elevating the Ashton Aged Maduro to a class all its own.

Darrin Boren - Ashton Aged Maduro No 40 (Verified buyer)
This is one of my favorite cigars. Not to strong so can be smoked anytime of the day. Ashton#40. I have smoked many of them in the last few years and they always burn perfectly with easy draw. Smooth flavor and and quality construction. Doesn't try to be overly complex like so many other's out there now. Just pure, simple, easy and satisfying.

Some may think this cigar is boring but I love it. Never had any burn problems and this maduro of great fort new smokers as it is pretty mild with little spice. The flavors are creamy and earthy.

Least favorite Ashton I’ve had. Very harsh, dry, and one dimensional. I’d take the symmetry and classic all day

Awesome smooth maduro that goes great in the morning with coffee or evening with some bourbon.
